Big Mac Tacos in 15 Mins
(Viral smash-style – makes 6–8 tacos)
Ingredients
For the Special Sauce
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 Tbsp sweet pickle relish (or finely chopped pickles)
- 1–2 tsp white vinegar
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Pinch of salt
For the Tacos
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 or lean)
- 6–8 small flour tortillas (street-taco size)
- Salt & black pepper
- 6–8 slices American cheese
- 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
- Dill pickle slices
- Finely diced white onion (optional)
Instructions
- Make the sauce (2 minutes)
Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside (or refrigerate). - Prep the tacos
Divide the ground beef into 6–8 equal balls.
Place one ball in the center of each tortilla and press/spread it into a thin, even layer almost to the edges. Season the beef side with salt and pepper. - Cook (8–10 minutes)
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
Place tortillas beef-side down. Cook 2–3 minutes until the beef is browned and crispy.
Flip, top each with a slice of American cheese, and cook 1–2 more minutes until the cheese melts and the tortilla is lightly crispy. - Assemble
Top with shredded lettuce, pickle slices, diced onion, and a generous drizzle of special sauce.
Quick Tips
- Work in batches if your pan is small.
- Keep finished tacos warm in a low oven (200°F) while you cook the rest.
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray the tortilla side with oil before flipping.
